Repairs

This repair involved making a register opening smaller and replacing several bad existing boards and then matching up with and refinishing old wood and bringing it all together.

Here the opening is made smaller and old boards are taken out.

New boards are put in place.

Here the new boards are stained and all the old wood is sanded.

Here is the finished job.  The new wood was perfectly matched up with the old wood which is about 100 years old.

Here again the same process and result.
